The lady, or the tiger?

Given the background, the character motivations, and the circumstances, how do you think the story ends?
Well, the teacher had each of us write our own ending to the tale, and as indecisive as I was, I couldn’t bear to choose either one. The lady, or the tiger? About half the class picked the first while the other half picked the second, and they all wrote eloquently on the whys and wherefores of the choice they made.
Myself, I was racked with indecision. I didn’t like either ending, and I simply couldn’t justify choosing one over the other. Both endings were too sad, and I was of the mind that a tale that ended sadly was an unsatisfying one. Had I been the king’s daughter, I would have called in sick and avoided the event at the arena altogether.
But that wasn’t part of the assignment. The assignment was to write about what awaited the lover when he opened the door on the right. So I wrote.
In my ending, the door holds neither the lady nor the tiger. In fact, there is nothing and no one at all behind the door. Upon seeing this, the crowd looks accusingly at the king’s daughter, knowing that only she could be behind such sabotage, and with the audience distracted, the lover escapes through the open door and disappears. When his absence is discovered, the people are outraged. They send some men into the arena to go after the lover, all to no avail. Meanwhile, in the confusion of the chase, the king’s daughter also makes her exit. In fact, she and her lover later escape the city and live happily ever after.
The ending was completely atypical in the class, and my teacher loved it. He might have thought that I was thinking outside the box or being completely creative and original, but the truth is that I’m incapable of making a decision, and I will do almost anything to avoid having to make such a tough choice. To this day, I still cannot decide between the lady or the tiger. Every now and then I come back to this story and re-evaluate my response; I try to choose one or the other, and I can’t. I simply can’t.
As the narrator would say, “The question of her decision is one not to be lightly considered, and it is not for me to presume to set myself up as the one person able to answer it. And so I leave it with all of you: Which came out of the opened door,–the lady, or the tiger?”

CooK CooK~~~

If you ask me what my hobby is, I will think for a while and tell you-Cooking! Yes, I like cooking. I cook everyday for myself. I enjoy it very much. When was very young, I watched my mother during she cooking. I wondered how delicious dishes made by my mother' hands. Few years later, I started to cook and I always cook for my parents. I like working in kitchen and deal with different vegetables and meat. All these staff will become nice dishes by my hands. I really like the feeling. Chinese people value food very much. Food is a kind of culture and has been developed for thousands years. There are lots of famous and delicious dishes cooked by chinese people during chinese food history. Some of them are delicate and complex. Some of them are simple and tasty. If you want to know and learn chinese food culture. I afraid it will cost you at least 20 years. But if you want to try chinese food, welcome to my home. I will offer you the simple, popular and delicious food. The most important is -They are free!!!*^-^*

BeSt WiShEs To YoU

Mom called me yesterday and told me a bad news. Aunt Lee, one of father’s friends got a horrible disease-leukemia. Nobody tells her the trust that probably she has only one year left. I am so sorry about this. Aunt Lee is father’s old friend. I remember she gave me many gifts when I was young. I do not understand why people’s destinies are so different. Some of us have health body, but some others always suffer from disease. Some of us have a happy family, but some others lost their kids, parents or other cousins. Some of us can receive education, but some others have no money to go to school…… People always say that people should resign to their fates, but I believe our destiny controlled by ourselves. Face challenges and difficulties, it seems difficult for us to live in this world. However, we are here, we have come and we have seen this world. I hope everything will be fine if we knew if we kept at it
Best wishes to all of you guys! I hope you always health and happy!

Oh My Dear Childhood~~~

June 1 is the children's day. As a 19-year-old big "girl", I have far away from my childhood. However, I miss the children'days in my childhood so much. It left such much sweet memories for me.
kindergarten~~~Most of my children' days spend in the kindergarten in my childhood. There used to have a girl who is shorter than other kids with two braids and shout loudly in the kindergarten. That was me. Whenever children'day, I usually performed on stage by Singing or dancing. I was willing to perform. It is just because little I could get chocolate and bubble gums from my teacher as the prizes after performance.
Gifts~~~This was the day which iI can get more gifts( except birthday). Dolls, candys, pretty skirts……When I wake up at the morning of this day, I had have been very excited about how many gifts I can get today!
amusement park~~~Papa and mama had no excuse to refuse me to the amusement park on this day. I could enjoy all day in the park and as happy as a little dog. I still remember that every year at children' day, after I played in the park or after school, papa and mama will take me to a eat icecream in a special icecream restaurant. The sweet and colourful icecream will stay in my memory forever!!!
Good bye! my dear childhood. You are the most sweet candy in my memory and I will store in my heart.
